Regal Eagles

This pair of bald eagles decided a bare tree was a great place to take a break on a very chilly and blustery day. They were probably hunting for fish in the nearby Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet south of Anchorage, Alaska. While perched there, they certainly were very vigilant and watchful of everything around them. They are such noble looking creatures and magnificent subjects to photograph! Luckily we were nearby and had a few minutes to capture some images!
