Mass Ascension

This was the last mass ascension of the Fiesta, or at least part of it. Like being in a colorful snow globe, the scene constantly changed as everything was in motion and with more balloons filling the air. There are over a hundred balloons in this image and that is only about a quarter of the balloons that ascended on this final morning of the 2019 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. For nine days in October, this was the “Happiest Place on Earth!”
