During this time of social distancing we’ve found it to be a great time to review some of the past images we’ve made, maybe even to make them better! Many of you might know that I’m somewhat of a car guy. I thought I’d share with you an image from a couple of years ago. I hope you like it! – JG
This is the International Horseshoe (turn) at the Daytona International Speedway during the 24 Hours of Daytona. It’s a great place to photograph the cars as they concertina into a condensed pack under braking. An accelerating Corvette, headlights flaring, leads a Ferrari, Porsche and a Prototype out of the turn. At this moment it’s cold, damp, very dark, the visibility is terrible for the drivers and it’s not even half way through the race. There are 8 more hours of racing through the night and drizzle before it starts getting light!
IMAGE-Adventures doesn’t currently offer an auto racing Workshop/Adventure but we could! Let us know if that might interest you!
