Pacific Impressions

Like a mosaic or an Impressionist painting, this image is filled with tiny patches of color that, when viewed from a distance, coalesce into a realistic scene. You might think that the term, “realistic”, is a stretch of the imagination but this is the way it was! All of those bits of light blue, pink and yellow were what caught my eye in the first place. Sometimes Mother Nature plays some delightful tricks. No?

This was a sunset from our Central Coast, Monterey and Point Lobos Adventure earlier this year.
