While we are practicing social distancing and staying at home I’ve had the opportunity to sift through many of my archived images and update my website. It’s been a few years since I’ve done that but now I have the time! One of my passions is photographing auto racing and I have a lot of images that are more journalistic in character. This one is an example of, literally, hundreds.

Here, Simon Pagenaud pilots his Indy League race car at the Grand Prix of Long Beach from a few years back. I remember when I first saw the car and immediately hated the color. In a photograph though, it really pops and is a great subject. Now I love it! – JG
