Siena International Photo Awards 2020

Every once and a while I toot my own horn and this is one of those times! All told in this international competition there are almost 50,000 entries from over 150 countries. I’m pleased to say that this image garnered a second place in category! (3 of the 4 images I entered were finalists) It got me an invitation to Sienna for the awards ceremony and month-long festival but alas everything is on hold, of course, until it’s safe to travel again. Even so, it’s very gratifying to place so well in a very competitive international competition where so many cultures and aesthetics are represented! – jg
